Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) is a healthcare science course that trains students to perform diagnostic tests needed to diagnose and monitor diseases. The program provides knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology, microbiology, and immunology, as well as hands-on training in laboratory instruments such as microscopes, auto-analyzers, and hematology analyzers. Students learn to collect and analyze samples such as blood, urine, stool, and tissue, while adhering to strict safety and quality control standards. This course prepares learners to work as skilled laboratory technicians or technologists in government and private hospitals, diagnostic labs, blood banks, and research centers, responsible for producing accurate test results that assist doctors in patient care.
